SERENDIPITY GROUP meets Mondays and Saturdays at the Community Center at 750 Joe Dr., High Point → (off Sandy Ridge Rd.). On Mondays at 7:30PM, they have a Step Study meeting and on Saturdays at 8:00AM, they have a Big Book Study meeting. This group emphasizes STUDY!

The group was founded by Steve L., Ben S., and Bryan F. in March 2010. Steve describes the meeting space as “… an ‘old school’ AA meeting room. It is the perfect AA club house; wood floors, wood panel walls, kitchen area, and a front porch with park benches for a smoke and a conversation.”

They typically have between 10 and 20 people attending and those folks usually have between 0 and 3 years of sobriety.

When asked to share what’s special about their group, GSR Steve L. listed:

  • Monthly business meeting
    • We hold our business meeting on the second to last Saturday of each month.
  • Rotating service work
    • plenty of service opportunities
  • Outside commitments
    • Men’s shelter
  • Open sharing
  • Fellowship
